They have been making for more than six decades

They are made from two different colours which is red and black. You can buy red band gumboots from Hammer Hardware or farming and gardening shops in New Zealand.
They are famous because they are very good quality gumboots and the brand is affordable.
The Gumboot Song was written by John Clarke aka Fred Dagg in the 1970. He was a Comedian performing and writing about rural New Zealand.

When I read your post I learnt that there is a gumboot song and that the red band gumboots have been made for more than six decades. Maybe next time you should have a title for your icon instead of just going straight into your korero and to also double check your spelling before posting. Why did you choose to do red band Gumboots over your other Icons? Nga mihi Ka Te Ao
